This seated mummiform bronze statue of Osiris wears the Atef crown flanked by plumes and with the cobra head. Osiris is depicted here with crossed arms holding the crook and the flail, symbols of royalty.It has very fine-modeled features and is covered with a mottled green and brown patina exhibiting areas of cuprite. It is complete and mounted on a modern ebony wood base. 6 x 2 x 1.875 inches.
