The first seventeen have been bound in incorrect order, but the remainder are in sequence, usually in groups of between four and six for forty-nine operas and ballets by Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini, and others. The subjects include a wide variety of architectural scenes, interiors and rural views set in Italy, other European countries, Ancient Egypt, the Middle-East, and South America
