This volume contains issues of Revue de l'Egypte ancienne: suite de recueil de travaux relatifs a la philologie et a l'archeologie egyptiennes et assyriennes, published in Paris by Librairie Ancienne Honore Champion, editeur (Librairie de la Societe francaise d'egyptologie) containing a first volume published in 1927 (308 pages plus plates), a second published in 1929 (291 pages plus plates) and a section at the end of the volume with fascicules 1-2 for the first volume. This section presents a text by Alexandre Piankoff, with his inscription. Among the contributors are such renowned archaeologists as Edouard Naville, Emile Chassinat, Gustave Jequier, Raymond Weill, and Jaroslav Cerny. This work is illustrated with plates and fold-out maps, as well as in-text illustrations.

Condition / Notes: This volume has been rebound in dark blue cloth, with gilt-lettered leather spine label. The label shows significant loss. The covers are lightly soiled and mildly rubbed/scratched. The binding is sound. The edges of the text block are speckled blue. The pages are clean and without markings.
