Description : African art. Bedu mask, Nafana, Kulango or Degha Ivory Coast or Ghana. Bedu wooden mask with black and white geometrical decorations. Usually in pairs (male and female), large masks like this one are used in cerimonial dances or harvest-related parties and their main purpose is to keep away negative events of all sorts.
