Description : Antique Senufo 40 Long Finely Carved Ivory / Bone Walking Staff / Cane / Scepter / Stick | Very ornately designed with two figures at its top, male and female, shaped in traditional Senufu fashion | Hand-carved and constructed in four pieces, each attached by joints carved with screw threads / ridges (helix) wrapped around the staff's cylinder, with a glue / adhesive also applied to the joint | The top piece can be removed. However, there is no damage to the joint, which fits securely and tightly to the second piece. The joint appears to have been previously repaired, and the detachment appears to be only a failure of the old adhesive | Approx. Size: 40 long.
