Description : A very striking ancient Egyptian blue glazed composition necklace (acq. 1906 Egypt, Dubois, exhibited museums: Met NY 1920, Boston 1945, MoM CA 1968) with 8 pairs of biconical black striped beads & 13 blue rectangular (3/4/ 2cm) beads with lotus designs (Mrs. Dubois 2 drawings of lotus beads in notes 1906), 1 biconical striped bead in center finishing with small florette beads at each end and a newer gold wash clasp at each end.
