Provenance : Provenance: with L'Art Ancien, Montreal, May 1988. For a similar glazed offering tray in the Louvre see Faïences de L'Antiquité de l'Égypte à L'iran, Paris, 2005, p. 149, no. 402. Two of the cups in the above lot appear to retain their original contents, which may have been an ointment.
