Description : An Egyptian glass heart amulet Ramesside, 19th Dynasty, circa 1295-1070 B.C. Originally opaque red in colour, now weathered to green, moulded with a human head in profile, wearing a plain wig, with incised detail of the almond-shaped eyes, arching brows and mouth, the rounded body uninscribed, 17/8in (4.8cm) high, the remains of a bronze suspension loop inserted into the top of the head
