Description : African Ceremonial Winged Tribal Mask, Butterfly, Bat. Large and carved from wood, striking horizontal mask has a face with pointed ears, with winged appendages on either side and polychrome decoration in red, black and white. Small holes are drilled around the perimeter, a wire is suspended through 2 of the them so that the mask can be hung on the wall. Outstanding ethnographic art to display as sculpture. Dimensions are 9.5 in h x 60 in w x 6 in d. Condition is as-is with wear and patina to the wood and a chipped end of the left wing. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
