Description : A pair of Egyptian faience ushabtis, 30th Dynasty - Ptolemaic, c. 344 - 30 BC, each on integral base and depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded across chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, bag over left shoulder and vertical plinth down back. 4 3/8 in (11.1 cm) & 4 1/8 in (10.4 cm). Each are well-preserved, glazed now an off-white with light deposits. Ex Nomis Antiquities.
