Description : A MISCELLANEOUS GROUP OF ARTEFACTS Including a Cypriot Iron Age juglet 8.6cm high, two small Egyptian bronzes of Isis and Horus, Late Period, circa 664 - 332 B.C., two Sassanian domed seals, three Iron Age bronze animals 3.2cm - 4.2cm long, a terracotta horse, an unusual grey anthropomorphic figure, and other objects, some not ancient, (Qty) Provenance: The two Egyptian bronze figures are property from a French collection acquired prior to 1980, the Sassanian domed seals are property from the collection of K. J. Hewett, the terracotta horse and the grey figure are property from the collection of Colonel Norman Colville, M.C. (1893-1974) collection and thence by descent,Êthe rest from a UK private collection.
