Description : A beautiful Egyptian faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 – 332 BC, standing on tripartite base and depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded over chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, bag over left shoulder vertical plinth down back and 'T-Style' hieroglyphic inscription on front. H: 4 ¾ in (12.1 cm). An extremely well-preserved example with crisp molding and fantastic style! Ex Nomis Antiquities, Ex Orange County private collection.
