Condition_report : Condition: This work is in good condition. Some unified craquelure across the painting, more pronounced across the red background in line with the age of the painting. Some circular craquelure to the body of the model. The canvas is sound and well stretched. The painting has been varnished. Some very small and minute spots of retouching across the red background and to the head of the model, all in line with the age of the painting. Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are accurate with the greys in the original painting being more pronounced and more vivid.
