The periodicals in this lot include issues of Internationale Zeitschriftenschau fur Bibelwissenshaft und Grenzgebiete, or International Review of Biblical Studies, ranging from 1951-1975, non-consecutively. These volumes contain abstracts and summaries of articles and books that deal with the Bible and related literature, including the Dead Sea Scrolls, Pseudepigrapha, Non-canonical gospels, and ancient Near Eastern writings (courtesy brill.com) Also present are various issues of Hamburger Beitrage zur Archaologie from the years 1971-87. This publication of the University of Hamburg sought to promote dialogue between the fields of prehistory and classical archaeology, and to publish works that intersected the two fields (courtesy uni-hamburg.de).
