Beschreibung : Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Period, 18th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1549 to 1069 BCE. A mold-formed pottery female concubine figure standing with fused legs atop an integral circular plinth. She presents nude with a rounded abdomen and perky breasts, with arms held tightly to her sides, and rounded shoulders tapering to a thick neck. Her serene countenance is defined by impressed eyes beneath thin brows, a bulbous nose above full lips, and cupped ears, all beneath a centrally-parted coiffure of wavy hair with a bun on the back.
