Scott, Egyptian Art at Yale, no. 77, a relief of Mentuemhat from the outer court of his tomb (at Thebes). The author writes: "Mentuemhat served as mayor of the city of Thebes during a turbulent period which witnessed the collapse of Kushite rule in Egypt, the sack of Thebes by the armies of Assyria, and the rise to power of the Saite Dynasty.
