A heavy throwing knife known as a mafa (also matakam) with a hammered iron body that terminates in a thick, rattan-wrapped handle and an integral suspension loop pommel. The blade head consists of two hemispherical curves that terminate in a blunt point, a narrow barb protruding from the exterior, and a hammered iron ring loop attached to the lower curve. Dozens of incised hash marks adorn both sides of the blade and give it a unique personalized presentation. Size: 6.75 W x 19.1 H (17.1 cm x 48.5 cm), 21.875 H (55.6 cm) on included custom stand.
